On 6th March, the European Parliament Informal Carers Interest Group met to discuss on “Young carers – challenges and solutions”. The programme is available here.
The aim of the meeting were to:
- Highlight the situation of young carers,
- Underline their needs and challenges,
- Come forward with recommendations on how to address these needs,
- Explore possibilities for EU level action to ensure policy attention for young carers across the board.
