3rd International Young Carers Conference
On 3-6 May 2021, the 3rd International Young Carers Conference (IYCC) was held, which was co-hosted by the Swedish Family Care Competence Centre (Nka), Linnaeus University and Eurocarers.
The program included nearly one hundred seminars with world-leading researchers, practitioners, decision-makers and young carers. The presenters shared up-to-date knowledge, projects, methods and their own experiences based on the theme “Identify, Support and Listen to young carers”.
The 3rd IYCC was also the final conference of the EU Horizon 2020 project ME-WE. On the final day of the conference, as part of the ME-WE projects final milestones, a satellite webinar session was therefore held. During the webinar, experiences were shared from five European research projects aimed at promoting mental health and wellbeing in the young (ME-WE, BOOST, ECoWeB, RefugeesWellSchool, UPRIGHT).
