Switzerland: Country-specific publication on young carers published on a professional Journal
The ME-WE Swiss team submitted a short country-specific publication to the not peer-reviewed and professional journal “Onkologiepflege”.
The journal addresses health professionals in the oncology field and it is in German (with some articles translated into French and Italian).
The article – published on March 12th – includes an explanation of the young carers topic (who they are, what are their tasks, how many young carers there are in Switzerland) and an overview of the ME-WE project. The aim is to raise awareness on the topic among health professionals and to awake their interest for the project.
